Caliber 5X83

The SEIKO 5X83 caliber is a prestigious analog GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph. This watch can set itself to the correct time zone anywhere in the world with a simple push of a button and thus display the correct local time. On the watch face, the GPS signal indicator shows whether the watch connects to the global GPS network. The watch also shows how many satellites the watch connects to. To determine the correct time zone, a connection with at least 4 satellites is required. If the watch is fully charged, the watch will make a satellite connection with one satellite up to twice a day to correct the time. This makes the 5X83 GPS Solar watch extremely accurate and the watch only has a deviation of 1 second per 100,000 years. If necessary, the local time can also be changed manually. The smart Perpetual Calendar function ensures that the watch always shows the correct date until the year 2100. The watch has a Dual-Time, in-flight mode, an automatic DST adjustment and the watch has a chronograph function. The stopwatch can measure up to 12 hours in steps of 1/20 second. An interim function is provided. A second time is displayed on the subdial on the dial and a separate AM/PM indication. The built-in watch micro-GPS receiver consumes so little energy that all functions function optimally on light energy generated by the Solar dial.
