The famous Top Time Triumph with B01 movement by Breitling, equipped with an Ice Blue dial and a self-winding mechanical in-house movement. The case is 41 mm. Where a black calf leather strap with folding clasp gives it a luxurious appearance.
The sixties were a decade of experimentation, fun, freedom and energy. Whether cruising on a motorcycle or touring in a sports car, life at full speed was the order of the day. Sensing this change of pace, Willy Breitling set out to design an unconventional chronograph that would capture the verve of the era. He called it the Top Time. That spirited tradition continues today with Breitling teaming up with some of the coolest names in wheels to create its Top Time designs. A collaboration with British motorcycle brand Triumph, the highlight of this watch is its ice blue dial. The signature hue was color matched exactly to a 1951 Triumph Thunderbird 6T and a rare Breitling Top Time Ref. 815 from the 1970s. Collectors are sure to pick up a few other legacies of vintage Breitling, including a retro logo, mushroom chronograph pushers and a "Zorro" dial design. The bow tie motif introduced on Top Time in the 1960s (and nicknamed for the mask of the crafty swashbuckler) is subtly integrated using a metallic brush technique that creates a radiant play of light and texture. The design features a Triumph badge at 6 o'clock, a speed-measuring tachymeter scale and contrasting "squircle" (not quite square, not quite round) subdials that give the feel of a vintage dashboard gauge. It also comes with a boastful engine under the hood: the exceptional Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01.
